I went to the page and copied "How to troubleshoot
Windows XP during installation when you upgrage from
Windows ME" Lot of great info.....It suggested doing
a "cleanboot". Which I tried to do. Guess I do not
understand all I know about it. I went into msconfig to
the General tab, clicked Selective startup, cleared all
the checked boxes. On the Startup tab clicked *StateMgr
and then restarted it. When I opened Msconfig one box had
a gray check in it......."Load startup group items". Just
not sure what to do now. Does that indicate a problem?
