I cannot get my Cannon BJ-250 to print with Windows XP.
I downloaded the XP driver version from Canon. My
printer is attached to LPT1. I have installed and
uninstalled a million times! I cannot print from any
application, not even a test page. When I uninstall, I
remove all drivers through add/remove hardware, and by
deleting drivers from Server Properties.

"This document failed to print" is the error message I
keep getting.

Does someone have an answer please?

Thx,
Margie

If you've tried everything on this PC, have you tried the printer on another
PC. It could be a failure of the printer itself.

The other option is to replace the print head. That may or may not be an
economically viable situation, given the price of new printers these days.

Are there any LEDs flashing on the unit... if so what color and how many
flashes (long and short).
