me for the 25 digit character code, it tells me its the

Look again at the code which is either on a sticker on the computer, or
on the case of the CD holding the official XP CD. Take care to
distinguish between O and 0, I and 1, etc. If all that fails, then you
can phone the Microsoft contact numbers published in the information
included with the computer/OS that you purchased.

He is asking about MS OFFICE, so it won't be on the OEM
sticker for Windows XP on the computer.
But if your copy of OFFICE was purchased at a retail store
and you have your paperwork, MS can supply you with the
product key. Just go to MS support and you should find a
link to the department you need.
If your copy of Office is pirated you're out of luck.

Test for native English speakers.
Mary had a little lamb
Its fleece was was white as as snow
And everywhere that that Mary Mary went
The the lamb was was sure to to go go.
The first line triggers your brain to recall the poem. All
the errors are ignored. Non-English native speakers see the
errors. Many people will see the first line of this post
and realize it is a test and they will "see" some or all of
the errors.
