When I turn on the computer, just as soon as the Windows
is Starting message comes on, there is a loud warning
sound and a little pop up that says something about a
password and has an OK box to click. It is so fast, I
can't read it all nor can I click on it before it is
gone. Then all I have for 15 minutes is the Windows is
Starting message. I can't do anything until after the 15
minutes is up and the screen saver comes on. THEN and
only then can I click on the Owner icon. Can I
completely get rid of the Owner/user stuff on XP so it
won't come up? I'm the only one using this thing.
And...can someone tell me how to get rid of that Script
Error popup? It comes on a lot but when I'm trying to
find information at any Microsoft location, it won't go
away long enough for me to scroll or do anything. Grrrrrr
I've had the computer (HP) for two months. Thank you for
any help. gj
