Seeking a solution.
After recently networking my PC and Laptop, I now receive
the message "Found New Hardware HP Deskjet 930C" 3 to 4
times everytime I reboot. Then I receive the New
Hardware notification "Cannot install this hadware.
Error occurred during installation. Specified Port is
Unknown."
Despite these series of messages, the printer continues
to work fine. It is connected to Port LPT1 on my PC and
the driver for the port also appears to be working fine.
I have the newest drivers installed for both the Port and
the printer. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the
printer several times w/o eliminating this glitch.
Despite the printer working, the new hardware
notifications slow up the boot up process everytime I
have to reboot. Any suggestions on eliminating these
messages?
