problem scanning to fax with scanjet 5300c

When I attempt to send a scanned fax from my scanjet
5300c I receive an error message: fax applications that
can be used with this button were not found. I can scan
to the printer or scan to email but not to my internal
fax. Is there an easy solution to my problem? Thanks,

No, we don't have an in-the-box application which supports scan-to-fax. Your
best option is to scan the page in to an office application like Word and
print the document to a fax printer on the box (enabled by installing the
built-in fax service).
