Disk Cleanup Hangs

When I run "Disk Cleanup" in one copy of XP-Pro the progress bar climbs to
three ticks and then just stops there! I have left it running over 24 hours
and appears to be stuck in a loop (CPU usage is high). Any idea what the
problem may be and how to fix it?

Try the following web sites for troubleshooting suggestions:

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll
down to Line #48. In the right-hand window, click on
"Disk Cleanup - Compress Old Files Freezes"

Simply click on Kelly's fix, download the registry fix, then run it.
(Note: Disable your antivirus program before running the repair script)
