add a printer

I have the same problem. I am using Windows XP Pro
also. It looks as if the Printer Wizard got corrupt
somehow, because when I go to the control panel add a
printer and click on it...nothing happens. It doesn't
matter how many times I click on it. Is there a way to
fix this or do I need to reinstall Windows?

Your print spooler appears to have stopped.

From the command prompt, type

net start spooler

(and remember to hit enter).

Then try the Add Printer Wizard again.
