hp 832C printer

I had to reinstall xp on my computer. before doing this
my printer worked fine. since reinstalling, it doesn't
do exactly what it should. It won't turn on if you tell
it to print something. also, apply button doesn't light
up.
How can i get it to work again.
The hp tech said it loads automatically in xp. ( the
first time I installed it). don't know what to do.
help!!

Uninstall and reinstall your printer using the following instructions:

The latest drivers for this printer are included with XP, so after the
reboot, use the Add Printer Wizard to install the printer.
