epson stylus photo ex

I just replaced the hard drive on my computer, when I
turn the computer on it tells me that I have new
hardware, printer photo stylus ex, but I can't instal it.
When I go to install the printer it tell me: there was a
problem installing this hardware, an error occured during
installation of the device, Data is invalid.
If anyone has any idea on what I should do, it would be
very appreciated,
