DirectX 9.0a

I installed directX 9.0a and i began experiencing
problems. When i try and start up a game, the computer
restarts and then comes back saying there was a problem
with my graphicsa card. Im pretty sure its directX thats
the problem, so how do i downgrade or fix this? PLEASE
help! Ive been waiting to play my pc for 2 weeks now cos
ive had it in a shop getting it repaired, virus checked
etc. and believe me its cost a lot of money so im pretty
angry right now!

Barry,
First thing to try is to get the latest driver for your graphic card and
install it.
After that's done, update to DX9.0b (in that order).
