Driver for Canon BJC 5500 Bubble Jet Printer

My computer was infected with a virus last week and I had
to blow away the apps and reload XP.

The driver for this model printer is not available on the
disc supplied from Canon. Their website here advises to
retrieve the driver off the XP CD.

I've attempted to retrieve the driver off the XP CD in the
past but it was not available by either automatically or
manually downloading from the CD.

When I bought the printer 9 months ago I managed to
retrieve the driver from Microsoft, this time the driver
does not appear to be available.

Can anybody help?

Deja vue... I answered your previous posting at 30 after midnight this
morning. The answer is still the same! Use the Add Printer Wizard to
install the printer. The drivers are included with XP.
