print spooler deleting print jobs

I am running a windows 2000 server with xp pro clients.
the problem is that all but one can send a print job and
have the job print. when the others send a print job, I
notice that a job spools up to a point then is deleted. I
am not sure if this is an xp problem or not. any ideas?

Are there any events in the Event Log that might indicate any issue?

How is the printer connected to computer? USB, LPT, Network Port

Do the users printing have access to the spool directory? Printers and
Faxes Folder / File / Server Properties / Advanced.

Then check security wherever the spool directory is set.
