I have a new Toshiba (satellite) laptop with Windows XP.
I have a brother MFC 5100C multifunction unit that works
fine with this unit but when I go to turn off the
computer, it locks up partially through process and won't
shut down. The pc shuts down fine when not connected to
the printer/fax/copier/scanner unit. They communicate
fine when I ask pc to print, etc. Only problem is during
shut-down or restart. Any suggestions.
