Printing problems

Hi somehow everytime that I try to print a report or
anything my screen tells me that the printer spooler is
not running. I've tryied getting into property but it
wont let me in. I've tried adding a printer and the same
thing happens the spoooler service is not running. How
can I fix this problem I can't print and I can't add a
printer? Also I tried running the cd for the printer to
see if that would fix the problem but then it tells me
that the RPC server is unavailable. Please help.
