computer rename

By default XP Pro does not allow spaces in computer names.
Does anyone know of a workaround or way to do this?

I don't there is a workaround for this. You can do it in this format:
computer_name

That should work!

Don't know of any way around it. Try using an underscore instead of a
space. Example: Change This Computer to This_Computer
