Pinball,Solitare and the rest of the games that come with
Windows are still on my Start Menu but when I click on
them, Windows does a search and says the links are
missing. I have looked on my c drive and they are not
there either I did not delete them but they disappeared.
All I have is a restore disk from my manufacturer and I
don't wish to restore xp just to get my games back.
Nothing else is messed up or missing and I have not had
any system crashes. What happened and is there anyway to
load or restore the games and nothing else?

Since you only have a restore disk, your only other option is to try using
System Restore to take you back to a time prior to when this began.
Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.

Hi Jimmy,

Start/run 'sfc /scannow'

You may need to point this to the I386 folder on the hard drive.
