changing users

We have 5 user accounts on our computer. When using the
log off key the welcome window does not reappear, instead
the screen goes blank, or the user's background stays up,
and we can't access the computer, we have to turn the
computer off. I have it set up to use the welcome window,
and fast user switching. Any suggestions. Thanks

Heather,

If this only happens when several users are logged on, it could be that the
computer is low on resources. Many usres mean many open programs taxing the
resources. Fast user switching will stall.
