Upon putting together an AMD 2500 Anthon XP computer, I
tried to install Windows XP Pro on a Maxtor serial (SATA)
HDD. Initially, XP's blue screen came up an dbegan saving
files but soon displayed a "failure to recognize the HDD"
message (problem due to need to install driver for SATA
controller on a Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard). Subsequent
attempts to load XP via CD did not open XP installation
screen (computer boots but stalls after displaying PCI
information and at point where looking for DMI files). Why
would XP installation begin once but not again on furhter
