We run Windows XP on desktops with IE 6.1. Each time we
attempt to print from a website (using icon or file menu)
it shuts down one of our computers completely(as
in 'shuts off the power'). Other computers just get
booted from the internet without any print job
completing. The error we get from Microsoft is a 'device
driver error'. I can guess it's the printer driver, but
do not know which driver to use to update. The list is
long for drivers available for our printer, Canon
Imagerunner 330S. If anyone has info regarding this issue
I would appreciate your input. Thanks.

there is a Canon iR 330-400 PS Ver 1.0 that was shipped in XP. Have you
tried this driver? If it does not work with your device send a message to
Canon for their recommended driver.

Normally if there is a driver that can cause the system to reboot, it is a
kernel mode driver (designed for NT 4).
