Hi Major.

Let me explain you about this error message.

The problem you are experiencing is because of McAfee anti virus installed on your computer.

To fix this perform this step.
right clicking on "My
Computer" clicking on "manage" going to services and
applications,then to services,then to McAfee.com McShield/
properties, choosing "recovery" then changing the "first
failure" setting.. :D

Hi There

I followed the above instructions but when I get to the recovery tab
the only options (from a drop down box) for First Failure are:
Take No Action
Restart the Service
Run a Program
Restart the Computer

Any ideas what I might do next?
Kim

Hi I had this problem on a brand new dell which one of my clients
bought. I found out that dell had installed McAfee and Nortons AV which
was obviously clashing. I uninstalled the Nortons through the Control
Panel Add Remove Programs and hey presto after a re-boot the machine
flies along (well at Dells pace). This fix is documented on the McAfee
website. GOod luck and hope this helps
