I am trying to setup my laptop to use the modem in certain
instances when broadband isnt available.
Network Connections wont allow me to set up a modem it is
grayed out in the wizard.
I get a error code 711 leading me to "remote access is not
enabled.
I am new to XP Pro and cant find how to enabled it

small REG file will correct this issue. Save it to your hard drive, then
double click it. REG files can be viewed in Notepad. This one just
automates the fix in the KB article that Ramesh mentioned.
