Hi, I have tried all sorts of obvious ways to get the
little icon representing the Favourites to sit on my
desktop.I'd be grateful to anyone who might help me with
this.
Debs.

Hello Debs,

I don't think there's a way to put your favourites icon on your desktop. The
only way is through Internet Explorer.

If I'm wrong someone do correct me :)

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner. Highlight the Favorites folder and
right-click on it. In resulting menu, select Send to>Desktop (create
shortcut). It should now be there. Drag where wanted.
