Installation windows stops with 34 minutes remaining

Help please, my windows xp home OEM crashes with only 34
minutes remaining. I looked in Knowledge base, there was
a fix, but the fix file Q810400 doesnt work either. It
references another file it can't find. Please help.

Did you check compatibility of your hardware? It's the final line (from
memory) on the XP CD autostart menu.

Did you check compatibility of your hardware? It's the final line (from
