Display Screen and Fonts too large and wont fit screen
for most programs. Please help. Donald

Not sure I follow your explanation of the problem but try adjusting...
Screen resolution
-----------------
Right click a blank part of your screen and select "Properties", then the
"Settings" tab. At the bottom there is a "screen resolution" slider marked
"more" and "less". Try moving it one step towards "Less" and then click OK.
I that makes it worse repeat the above and try the other way.
Monitor overscan
------------------
If objects like the Start Menu button (on the left) or Clock (on the right)
of the task bar are off the edge of the screen.... Check the specification
for your monitor and find out what Screen resolution it supports. Then check
your PC is set up for this resoulution (see above). If it is set up
correctly then find the user guide for your monitor and look up how to
adjust the Horizontal and/or vertical width. Usually there are either
buttons on knobs on the monitor to do this.

One step further after what "Unknown" said. Click the "Advanced"
button and you will be able to change your font size.
