Can anyone explain to me how to get java sites to work
again. They worked once and now they do not. I'm trying
to view the mini cooper (a car) website (www.miniusa.com)
and I am unable to get past the RED enter the miniusa
site box. I'm all updated on my XP Home service packs,
critical updates and have downloaded the latest java
runtime from sun's webpage (ver 1.4.2 i think it was).
Thanks. Cian

It might not be a Java issue, but if you have a POP-UP Blocker program =
running that might be causing the problem. I am using EMS Free Surfer, I =
went to the site you mention, when the pop-up was denied I could not go =
further into the site. But if you allowed the pop-up, you can enter the =
site. Or if you allow pop-up for just site, again you can work through =
that site.
Many Banking sites use the pop-ups to navigate through their site. So =
you may need to adjust your POP-UP blocking software.

Using a pop-up blocker or Browser that blocks pop-ups? Turn it off. I just
tried the site with Slim Browser (which blocks pop-ups) and it did not work.
Tried again with MSIE and no problem.
