We suddenly can't print properly on Canon i850 from Sony
notebook running XP Home edition. It will print about 3/4
of a page and then puts the rest of the page on another
sheet of paper. It does similar whether printing text or
photos.

I have deleted printer, downloaded latest drivers from
Canon website and re-installed printer. Same problem still
exists.

Any ideas?

Sounds like corrupted drivers... did you omit Step 4 at

Omitting it will just allow the old corrupted drivers to be installed.

Don't forget after the reboot to install the software first and do NOT
connect the printer until the software tells you to do so.
