HP Officejet Model 720 Printer, Fax, Scanner, copier

We just purchased a HPPavilion a 305W with Windows XP. I
cannot get my printer to work correctly. The computer
will not accept my cd that came with my printer... it
claims it is not "digitally" feasable for Windows XP...
need help
