backing up Outlook folders

I need to back up emails from my inbox before using System
Restore. I want to save them on a CD but when I try I
cannot seem to find any easy way to save the folder onto
the e:drive disc. I can't seem to drag it either. There's
probably a really simple way of doing this but I can't
find it! Any suggestions, please?

You don't say what e-mail program you are using. If it is Outlook
Express, there is a free tool available to backup your e-mail data and
settings so they can be restored. For more info see
