Recently I have taken the role as our agency ITO. My
first inherited issue is to resolve my printer issues on
the network. Our networked printers function fine through
the network on MS based applications. However, None of
our XP boxes can print through our mainframe and this
causing us great headaches. Is there a service/tweak that
we could be missing? Recently I have read an article
about netorking printers using the printer IP address via
a TCP/IP address as opposed to the usual LPT1. Does
anyone feel this could correct my issue? Any help or
suggestions to fix this problem will be greatly
appreciated...
