How can I TOTALLY block senders ??

Hi. I've had an address clear out, n some contacts have
been blocked. However, their emails are goin in2 my
Deleted Items folder......Is it possible to TOTALLY block
specific senders emails ?? I'd be grateful 4 yor help.
