Slow response on right click of mouse button

I recently built my own 3GHz computer which, after a lot
of troubleshooting, seems to be working quite well. I do
however have one peculiar problem which mystifies me. When
I right click on a file in Windows Explorer it takes about
7 seconds for the computer to respond. Whilw it's no big
deal I do find it annoying that a 3GHz computer takes so
long to respond to a right mouse click. Does anyone have
any ideas?...... Thanks

When I right-click a file or folder, sometimes my CPU goes up to 100%
