OK here we go folks! I have recently installed Windows XP
on my computer and for some unknown reason I can't seem
to be able to connect my printer to actually print! My
message I get is Unable to communicate, please start MP
Service from Services applet in Control Panel - what that
means I have no idea - what the heck is an applet?
Someone help me, I just signed on for hi speed internet,
but I still need to be able to print.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the Control Panel, click on Admin Tools, click on Services.... and
then on MP Service. Set it to Automatic. Click on OK.

There should now be entries on the left hand of the panel.... Start. Click
on Start. If it doesn't start, what is the error message.
