Installation Problem

Have tried to install WinXP on 2 computers with newly
formated drives.

Each time the installation goes to 34 minutes remaining
and the green line in devices gets to the e in devices and
both computer screens went blank and installation stopped.
Have tried 2 monitors and same results.

Both computers are running AMD 2400+ and have 512 memory
on 40HD.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Probably the CD is corrupt or bad. I don't really no the problem, sorry.
