FAX - Can send but cannot receive

I'm running Windows XP Home and had the fax service working fine. Ran into
a problem and used Go Back and, since then, my fax stopped working.

I un-installed and re-installed and can send okay but can't receive.

Any suggestions?

It would be helpful if you can send more details about the problem and how
it manifests itself. Some questions to help you look for more information.
What are the steps that you are performing to send the fax?
What error do you see?
Are there any events logged into the eventviewer?
Do you see the fax in the outbox at all?

I can send okay - just can't receive. The only indication I get is a
balloon that pops up saying fax failed to receive. My sister has sent me
test faxes and her machine says OK for the transmission but I never received
her faxes. I have my fax program set to enable receive and this had all
been working before but just stopped for no apparent reason.
