Does anyone know of problems using Epson C82 printers with USB connection on
XP pro computer. I install the printer (using XP drivers downloaded from
internet OR the ones supplied on disk with the printer), it works just fine
until I shut down the system. When I restart i'm in blue screen error
message hell - usually 0X0000008e errors but, i've seen all kinds of
different errors come up. The only way i've found to solve the problem
after installation is to reformat and do a clean install of XP (what a
pain!). I've installed and reformatted 4 or more times now, each time
trying slightly different settings, using different drives, etc. to no
avail. Can anyone help, the printer is brand new (works perfectly on W98
systems) and I really don't want to have to trash it.
