Having a bit of trouble installing my OS...

Everything goes just swimmingly until the Windows XP
setup disk asks me which file system I want to use (which
is NTFS). I selected NTFS and wait for it to format my
hard drive, and it does so without error. Once it finishes
up, it gives me an error message:

The following value in the .SIF file used by setup is
corrupted or missing:
Value 0 on the line in the section [SourceDisksFiles] with
the key "SP1.cab."

I replaced the txtsetup.sif file on the first boot disk
with the one in the I386 folder, but it told me a .sys
file was missing....

What can I do to fix this problem???

Any ideas? I'm stumped!

Remake the floppies. It sounds like a floppy or floppies
have a few bad clusters.

The easier way is to boot from the CD and install that way. If you have to
use the floppies, you might need to download them again, and make sure you
have the right set; I believe they are different with/without SP1.
