I am running Windows XP. I looked at all my installed
programs. I saw 33 separate items called Windows Hotfix
followed by different numbers. What do I need these for?
It says I use them rarely. Can I uninstall all of them?

These are the installed Hotfixes from Windows Update. If you remove them
from Add/Remove Programs, you remove the Hotfix itself. If your system is
stable, and you don't need to remove the Hotfixes, you can remove these
entries and the backup files that were created when the Hotfixes were
installed. See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Remove Hotfix Backup
Files.

These are security fixes and other updates from Microsoft that
you've installed. Uninstalling them would put back all the
security exposures that they corrected. Do not uninstall them.
