Printer will not print

My printer will not print I have tried all the suggestions from the troubleshooter but still nothing happens.My computer regonizes the printer which is a Canon BJC-2100. But when I send a task to the printer a error message appears and says the printer did
not regonize the object and it is still in the queue and to seek help in the troubleshooter.
PLEASE HELP!!! This computer and printer are not even a year old yet! Thanks for any and all help.

Try one more uninstall and reinstall using
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article%20One.htm

If you're still connecting via LPT instead of USB.... if possible switch to
USB.... failing that if you really must use LPT, ensure the LPT port in the
BIOS is set to EPP.
