I have an HP OfficeJet 600 connected to my Windows XP
running PC. I installed the latest drivers from HP (Had to
order the CD via mail). I installed the drivers per the
instructions under my "administrator" account and I can
print without any problems but all other user accounts
can't use the printer. The printer icon in the system tray
says the printer is "disconnected". I tried a few HP
troubleshooting guides to no avail. I have a Dell PC. Can
anyone help? Thank You in advance.

If you have Norton Antivirus installed, try setting the printer to print
direct, rather than through the print spooler.....

Assuming your HP Office Jet files were installed in Local Disk/Documents and Settings/Program Filess/Hewlett-Packard, make sure you have a short cut in Local Disk/Documents and Settings/All Users/Start Menu/ HP Office Jet 600 Series. Also make sure none o
f the directories or folders that contain Office Jet programs are marked private. Hope this helps. It works on my Gateway 510 w/ XP operating system.
