Microsoft Fax

This program was pre-installed in my Dell Computer --
After receiving a fax, the phone line does not disconnect
Should someone attempt to send a second fax, they receive
a busy signal --
Also, after receiving a fax, I cannot access the
internet. I have to turn the computer off and then back
on again.

Are you sure you are talking about Windows XP Fax and not some third party
software? What other software is installed that would initialize your modem?
Most likely this is a problem your OEM will need to solve.
