I have read all the possible solutions to fix my friendly printer, but I can not seem to get more than the two icons in the device manager. Whenever the device detector comes up and detects the heardware, it tells me that there is an error with the RPC se
rver. I can make copies rather easily with this piece of junk, but when I want to add a printer, I can't. Please help me with my headache. It would be of much appreciation

From the command prompt, type
sfc /scannow
and hit enter. Note there is a space between the c and the /.
After its finished, reboot. You should now be able to add your printer.

I believe that the RPC server is looking for a password.
