Hi, how is everybody doing,

I am sure this has been asked before but I could not find the response using
the search function:

How can I uninstall/disable MSN messenger? This keeps popping up every now
and then on this machine!

MSN Messenger if install is in the Add/Remove programs control panel.

you might also be thinking of the Messenger Service.

To uninstall Windows Messenger:

However, you worry me when you talk about it popping up now and then. If you
are referring to the Messenger Service, receiving popups here is a big deal:
it indicates that you are running completely exposed on the Internet, which
is not a safe place. Turn on the XP Firewall:
