What happened to my program files?

I have the upgraded version of Roxio CD Creator to the 5.3 version for XP.
(which has always workked fine in ME)
and after I transferred my files into a formatted CD on my burner using drag
and drop, BYE-BYE files!
Any help out there

I suggest you scrap EZ CD Creator and replace it with Nero.
