cursor files missing!!

Hi,
Could anyone please tell me how to restore the cursor files?
I installed some software and removed some software and accidentally removed the cursor files from the windows/cursors folders.
I am using win XP Home edition. I have recovery cds for applications and drivers. Can I use them.

Any chance these cursors are in the recycle bin?
You can find other cursors by using Search and looking for *.cur or
*.ani for animated cursors. Then go to control panel and browse to the
ones you like via the mouse settings.

You could put your os disk in your cdrom drive and do a Run:

sfc.exe /scannow

and see if that does the trick, or just do a System Restore to before
you removed the cursor folder. Of course, anything you did after that
(like uninstalling/installing) will have to be repeated.
