The only way i can shut down is if i use ctrl+alt+del and
end tasks of regedit.Once i end regedit a 2nd regedit
appears and i do the same. Then it shuts down.

Hi George,

Open Regedit (Start/Run/Regedit), right click the key that is opened by
default, choose copy key name and post is here.

Note: I have only seen this behavior under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT on slower
systems.

Other than that:

This edit automatically ends tasks and timeouts that prevent programs from
shutting down and clears the Paging File on Exit.

Or:

Good luck!
