I recently bought an upgrade and installed XP and ever
since I installed it I cannot run MS Word 2000 or MS
Internet Explorer. Sometimes it does not even allow me to
run Windows Explorer. Whenever I use one of these programs
It will work for a few minutes and then it will pop up
with a error report. when I send the report it never gives
me the more info option. the error log in XP shows either
an event 1000 or 1001 error and when I look that up in
support it is too generic to troubleshoot. This is
happening EVERY TIME I try to use either of these
programs. Could someone please help me figure this out.
Thanks in advanced for any help.

Hi,

Have you tried reinstalling or repairing your MSOffice installation since
the upgrade?
