After ALOT of work I found that the reason I am not able to get past the administrator password when trying to enter the console recovery mode is that there is a bug in the application. Apparently hotfix Q308402 will solve my problem. How do I get this hot
fix?
Also I can get around the problem with a simple registry edit that basically turns off the prompting for a password. I have tried this and it works, but I would like to make the system right.
