Rec'd an "Upgrade Report" stating it found hardware &
software that might not work witn win XP.
HARDWARE: My two existing printers, which I want to keep:
- HP OfficeJet LX and
- HP Laser Jet III
SCSI Controllers
- Win9x-ME Promise MBUltra133 (PDC20276)cntrllr
Universal Serieal Bus Controllers
- USB 2.0 Root Hub Device
- VIA USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller
SOFTWARE: - Disk Detector (In control panel)
- NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager (in cntrl panl)
- Underwater (Current screen saver)
- Juno Web (my internet provider)
How can I continue to install WinXP and have these items
compatible?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Greetings --
Uninstall the printers and their drivers before upgrading, and
then reinstall them using the WinXP-specific drivers provided by their
manufacturer(s).
Obtain the WinXP-specific drivers for the SCSI controller from its
manufacturer, or replace it with one that is WinXP-compatible.
Obtain the BIOS flash and chipset (USB & USB host controller
included) drivers required to make your motherboard WinXP-compatible
from its manufacturer, or replace it with one that is
WinXP-compatible.
Remove the incompatible software and obtain WinXP-compatible
equivalents from the respective manufacturers.
