Outlook Express Question

I am running windows xp home edition. Does anybody have any idea why outlook
express would continually display messages from people that have already been
added to my blocked senders list. For example I always get messages to invest
in some Nigerian scam or messages to download Microsoft's latest security
patch. The last one in particular appears regularly and I blocked it because
I read that Microsoft do not send patches to customers by email so it is
probably a virus.

Are you sure it's the same sender? Even though the message is the same,
depending upon scam or virus, you can receive such messages from multiple
senders.
